We all have those days when we don’t feel like making much effort with our style. This happened to me last weekend, when my boyfriend asked me to accompany him to go to the #streetmeetkl @ Dataran Merdeka Kuala Lumpur. As a student that have been up all night preparing for classes, tasks, and assignments, guess who finally got a day off to run some errands? ME! Some days, you just don’t have the energy to put on your makeup, do your hair and coordinate the perfect outfit. On these days, the answer is simple. Wear something simple.

There is no need to add stress to your life by complicating things. Just pick something from your closet that is comfortable and easy, throw on some accessories, and BAM! YOU’RE LOOKING SO GOOD!

TBH I am a master of making my look simple. I just don’t have the time right now to over-think what I am going to wear and how I am going to wear it. With a boyfriend who is the most punctual guy I ever met, jeans is the best choice because I don’t have to iron them. Sometimes all it takes is a little something shiny like gold or silver to liven up the white or black t-shirt paired with ripped jeans or denim skirt and a pair of sneakers. I also like to take along a cute handbag that has a little more color or texture. The bag adds interest and dimension to an otherwise plain ensemble.

We can still look good with little effort. All it takes is simple clothes, a little bling, and a handbag. (and maybe some lip shades for good measure.)
